Weekly Bible lesson from John Chapter Three – Let God's Word grow on you
6When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? 7The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. 8Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
Life is not always fair. Maybe you are the victim of abuse – drugs, alcohol, violence – it does not matter what type. Just as Jesus saw in this man how he had been treated by society, we take care of those who have been mistreated, abused, and rejected by others. It could be that you are an innocent victim. It could also be that you brought this on yourself. The reasons are not important. What is important to know is that God loves you (John 3:16) and wants something better for your life.
We help you to work through what life has thrown your way. Maybe you feel life and people have deserted you. For this to work, you must want to change. We form a partnership and together we work towards the goal to free you from what is binding you.
